So I took that career matchmaker meme thingy. Instructions as follows:

2. Put in Username: nycareers, Password: landmark
3. Take their "Career Matchmaker" questions
4. Post the top ten results

I am highly amused that I got:

1. Dentist
2. Dental hygienist
3. Taxidermist

:D The rest were either arty or medical, and #10 was Kindergarten Teacher. LOL.

Ya know, I think I would have done well as a dentist! I'd have a pristine white clinic, wearing pristine white scrubs, and I'd have pristine white orthodontically corrected teeth, and I'd have shiny metal instruments laid out on a shiny metal tray, and I'd be the friendly dentist that all the kids liked, and I'd dispense sugar-free lollipops to all and sundry...

It would have been marvellous. I would also have been filthy rich.

Why didn't I want to go into dentistry again? Oh yeah, because I had a VOCATION to be a SURGEON.

*shakes head at disillusioned 16-year-old self*

It's kind of poo that I've been disillusioned by Medicine, but at least now I know for sure that hospital life is a dreadful experience. I know I'll have to go through with it for quite a few years yet, but I've almost fully decided I want to go into General Practice at the end of the line.

But hey. At least I know that if all else fails, I can always go into Taxidermy. :P
