ART: Snape tattoo design
Hi, guys! Thanks to everyone for friending me. The very generous and lovely [info]gwionfawyr has bought me a "permanently insane" IJ account ♥, so I can now friend you all back. Please be patient, as there are quite a few of you!! :D

Wow, so this is my first art post on InsaneJournal. :D Although this drawing is very very innocent and G-rated, I've made the decision not to post any more artwork on Livejournal (though I will be cross-linking). All my old art will be reposted here as back-up storage when I have mustered up the stamina to tackle such a task. Ergh.

Anyway!

Notes: This is a tattoo design I drew for [info]painless_j, she wanted a simple portrait of our dear professor in his teaching robes. I've never designed a tattoo before, so I'm worried I put in too much detail. But I've been assured it's ok, hehe.



In other news, I was nominated in the Stargate Fan Awards!!!! For this picture of Daniel Jackson (wearing his bandana!!) that [info]saturn92103 commissioned me for! Omg!! Whoever nominated me (if you see this post) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I'm so unbearably flattered and honoured. ♥ Thank you. :D

Marvellous! The bottom of his robes remind me a little of Morticia Adams...

The accent of colour on the potion bottle is very effective, too.

By the way, I used this tool to migrate my old LJ entries onto IJ. It was easy to run and saved a awful lot of time!

Oh, that's just gorgeous! I think it'll work great as a tattoo! I love his robes and the small phial is lovely.

Very nice and good clear defined line work. It should work well for a tattoo, and it takes a good few years for detail to smudge in most cases, and how much depends on size.

The red of the vial is really striking, the first thing my eye was drawn towards, and the streaking of white through it for detail is very effective. There's something a little sinister to the gnarled root-like ending of his robes.

I'm definitely going to come sound you out when I'm shopping around for my next tattoo design.

Guh! This makes my little relief printer's heart all a-flutter with the stark black and white - spot of red -ness! It's amazing! snape's hair, cloak, profile, everything is absolutely perfect. :D

What an awesome design! I love the smoke around his head and what you've done with his robes at the bottom. And my god, Snape is totally sexy. Canonical non-pretty Snape and still so very hot! Perfect. :D

This will be perfect for a tattoo. It's bold, yet subtle, and will hold its shape and detail very well on the wearer. If I weren't so damn ethical I'd steal it for use as the logo for the Severus Snape Rescue Squad.

I wonder if you'd perhaps accept a paid commission to do a tattoo design for me. I've been looking unsuccessfully for someone to fork money at to design an HP tattoo for, oh, several years now, and when I saw this it TOOK AWAY MY BREATH. I checked your userinfo for your policy on commissions, and didn't find anything (or possibly was just blind) so I'm resorting to asking here, sorry. :X But I can't help myself, since this is holy-crap levels of utterly amazing.

That is a really nice design for a tattoo. I am going to be getting a Snape tattoo but I just haven't decided what yet. I already have a HP tattoo on my left inner ankle. It is the Dark Mark from the book, with Mors Mordre underneath it.
